A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, Conner earned a degree in Business with concentrations in finance, insurance, real estate, and small business entrepreneurship. He began his career as a commercial appraiser, spending five years analyzing property values and gaining deep insight into market trends, property fundamentals, and investor needs.
